Cookies and Cocktails: The Jacci Group Christmas Favorites

This time of year our kitchens are filled with the wonderful smells of baking; warm vanilla, cinnamon, and gingerbread. There is nothing better than having a tray full of wonderful baking and a house full of guests! The ladies of The Jacci Group have compiled some of our favorite Christmas cookies for you to indulge in this holiday season, and to accompany your warm treats, we have also included some delicious cocktails that will thrill all of your Christmas guests.

The Neiman Marcus Chocolate Chip Cookie

This recipe is also known as the $250 cookie recipe, because of one lady who paid just that to obtain it! This cookie is full of ground oatmeal, chocolate, and chocolate chips. This cookie is a favorite in Emily’s house. Check out the recipe from NY Times Cooking here.

Chocolate Whoppers

Who doesn’t love ooey-gooey, chocolatey cookies? Susan’s family loves to make these Chocolate Whoppers, they are a hit at a party or even as a sweet delivery to someone special. You can find the recipe from Foster’s Market here.

Cinnamon Roll Cookies

These deliciously soft cookies are full of cinnamon and sugar. The cream cheese frosting on the top is on par with a deliciously warm and sticky cinnamon roll. When Sarah brings these cookies out she is the hit of any party! Check out the recipe from I Heart Nap Time here.

Peanut Butter Marshmallow Squares

These no bake, little marshmallow treats are a favorite at Erin’s house! They are filled with the flavors of peanut butter and butterscotch, and with only a few ingredients they are very easy to make. Click here for the recipe from 100k Recipes.

Peanut Butter Balls with Rice Krispies

These delectable little treats are full of flavor. Peanut butter and chocolate, you really can’t go wrong, and when you add the rice Krispies it gives it a little something extra! This is a Christmas must in Jacci’s house. Check out the recipe from Kitchen Fun With My Three Sons here.

Hot Chocolate Martini

When you think of Christmas you may think of hot chocolate and sleigh rides. Well, let’s put a twist on that and change your traditional hot chocolate into a drink that’s strictly for the adults. This martini recipe calls for Kahlua but Jacci likes to mix it up and add Baily's instead. Which do you prefer? Here’s the recipe from The Kitchen Is My Playground, try it for yourself!

White Christmas Mojito

This White Chrismas Mojito will have you dreaming of the snow, but the flavors will transport you to an island destination! This Mojito is a creamy cocktail full of coconut and lime. Sarah will often whip up a batch of these delicious drinks when she has a house full of guests. The recipe from Half Baked Harvest can be found here.

Jingle Juice Holiday Punch

Jingle Juice is so easy to make with just three ingredients! Using whipped vodka, pink champagne, and cherry 7-Up you will have your guests asking for a refill! Susan suggests freezing the cranberries before using them as a garnish, it will double as an ice cube and will look fantastic in your drink! Get the recipe from Inspired by Charm here.

Eggnog and Bailys

Christmas and eggnog go hand in hand so why not make that eggnog into a martini? This martini is very simple and only has three ingredients. The recipe calls for whipped vodka, but Erin will sometimes substitute vanilla vodka if she doesn’t have whipped vodka on hand. Check out the full recipe by Sula and Spice here.

Christmas Cookie Cocktail

Sugar cookies are a staple at Christmas time but why not try a cocktail that tastes like a sugar cookie? This cocktail is a favorite with Emily’s guests! You will need sugar cookie creamer (vanilla works if you are in a pinch!), Kahlua, vanilla vodka, and half and half. To dress it up add a frosting and sprinkles rim around the glass.
